Crown Jewel, Portland, ME

Ghost Score 8.8: Enjoyed the ferry ride from Portland to Great Diamond Island, a very cool way to explore the rocky Maine coast. As you approach the island, you’re greeted with sheer beauty, kids jumping off the dock, and golf carts ready to help you explore this charming little island.

The Crown Jewel is a very cool spot, and we enjoyed sharing a few dishes with friends: oysters on the half shell, deviled eggs, crispy crab rice, and the Island Burger with Manchego, onion jam, pickled peppers, paprika mayo, and hand-cut fries. Finished it off with a Red Stripe.
